Happy New Year!!!!

Happy 2014 everyone!

I remember as a kid and thinking how old I would be in the 2000's
and here I am!!
Old but happy to be here!

We 'Three Amigos' had a really good Christmas
and the collage below shows some highlights.

It is absolutely freezing here....-15C
and I don't want to know the 'windchill factor'.

But we are a tough lot here in Nova Scotia
and will be heading out soon for the daily hike.

Have a great day everyone.
It is good to be back.

    1. Hi Jeanne! Good to see you!
We had a great walk and you know what made it even better? I bought some 'hand-warmers' from LLBean in Maine and do they ever work well tucked away in gloves or mitts!! great for my 'thin blood'!
All the best to you and yours.

  5. Super collage, Happy New Year, yesterday our temp. dropped from about 15C to 12C in 10 minutes, and that seemed to be quite cool!! But -15C, and I see it will be even colder the next night, so wrap up well, all three of you, and enjoy the first walk in the snow of 2014.Greetings from Jean

  6. My brothers and I used to do the same thing when we thought about our age and that year 2000--We never did go past that, too scary I suppose! :-) I hope you and Ron and Sophie have a wonderful day and bask in the warmth of a fun day afterwards!

  9. Is that CANDY I see in the collage? (Yep - I got some, too.) Some people (the people I listen to) say it's heart-healthy. It's cold and blustery here in Breckenridge, too. Not as brave as you - I've been sitting by the fire.

  13. Happy New Year, Jim! We got back from the mountains late this afternoon, and then it snowed here ~ not a lot but enough! I hope that you are toasty warm inside and that you three had a great walk. I loved your collage! The yellow background was great. It really set off all the fun photos! Ameristar used a number of my photos, including a collage of mine, at its three-sitting New Year's Eve banquet. Was I surprised and thrilled! But I had told Nam, our host, that he could use the pictures I sent him last February any way he wanted. Isn't a brand new year great? Full of endless hope and potential. And I used to worry about 1984! After all the Y2K hoopla, I haven't worried about the 2000s! I hope 2014 is a great year for you three! Take care!

  14. Happy New Year, Jim! Glad to have you back in blog land, and looking forward to another blogging year with you. That is a beautiful collage; it certainly looks like you had a great time. It is freezing here, too, but we're toughing it out. We're Canadians, after all, eh? *sigh* Can't wait till spring!
