Almost a statue, blending with the dark branches, super photo. Greetings to you all, Jean.
A silhouette of sorts. Thanks Jean.
....and pooing on your head as you pass
Thanks to telephoto lenses......I was spared! lol
Don't open look up (or open your mouth)...
LOL! You guys!!
Remember that old song from the 70s called "Hitching a Ride"? It was the first 45 I ever bought, LOL!
I do Debra! By Vanity Fare......catchy tune!
How very gorgeous!
Thanks Fiona! He/she was very cooperative!
Nice thought and shot, Jim.
Hi Sharon.....thanks. This bird was not too timid at all.
Looks painted, Jim. I can't believe you're still having early spring. I'm in the city for the weekend. A balmy 50 degrees here!
Our days are numbered here Barb! Snow for tomorrow and our 'thaw' will be but a memory!Enjoy your balmy city weather and rest up before you 'hit the slopes' again! Have a great weekend.
He does look like a statue. Nice!
Hi Bobbi! The light was so bright behind him that everything was silhouetted.....a solid wall of black and gray/blues. thanks.
I really like the photo effects you added, Jim! It gives a lot of depth to the photo. Birds are so hard to capture. His pose makes you look up and wonder what it is seeing! Well done!
Hi Louise. I used a 'posterizing' effect here and as you said this edit effect shows depth in the composition. Since I don't like to crop a photo unless I really have to, I get OCD when I am 'framing' the shot with my camera........it's all about the composition.I think this crow was was just ignoring me as best he could! lol
I think he was waiting for you to take the picture!! You take the best pictures// we all need to look UP more!Vicki
A real 'poser' then he was!Heads up now......
I love it! Great photo too
Hey, I really like your comments and appreciate the time you took to do so.
