    1. This is one of his later 'hits'. I know he is remembered for those 'upbeat and happy' (kidding) tunes of his from the 60's and early 70's!!
Hope your Sunday is going well too Martha!

  3. Honestly Jim,

I do not remember ever hearing it or hearing his name. It must have been in those diaper changing years...

    1. It probably was during those 'busy' years!! He is Canadian from Montreal and is actually more popular in Europe but had a very strong following (me included) in Canada and the US.

    1. Leonard Cohen is certainly not as well known as some of his era but he has a few classics from the late 60's that you are sure to recognize Vicki. He is not noted for cheery, uplifting pieces....he was a poet before he started singing in Montreal.

    1. You may like other pieces by him as well Pat. He is usually very serious and sometimes subtlety mischievousness.

  8. My speakers have beocome unhinged and I am too hot to deal with them right now, so instead, I sat for a while and looked at the sailboats on the blue waters in your header photo. It cooled me off and left me feeling so peaceful.

    1. I think I like most of his work. Funny a lot of people find him depressing and dark.....this is what I like about him.

  10. The voice, the words, the emotions he brings with each song and here in 2012, he is still perfection to me :)
