Shooting In The Fog

We have had a few days of fog this summer and this was one of them.

It was early morning along the river with just the sound of the water rushing by.

We could barely see the other side of the river.

Could almost (I said almost) get used to fog......it is usually cooler and I could use some coolness today around here......very humid and warm.

  1. I really enjoyed your clip. Thanks! There's something about fog that, I think, both soothes and excites the imagination. When we were in Louisiana at Christmas, the fog rolling in on the Mississippi River still gave me pause to stop and enjoy the silence.

    1. Hi Kittie! Thanks, glad you enjoyed it.
I am beginning to see that fog has all sorts of possibilities. You are correct in that the silence is almost palpable in fog.

  2. Neat little slide show.
But fog can be scary. Watch out for the werewolves!

  3. I kinda like fog at the beach there's something peaceful about it. Except when you have to worry about those werewolves, they must only be in Pennsylvania or is that Transylvania, Mark?

I guess I am just learning this Jen, that there is a peacefulness to fog.

  5. Good Morning, Jim!

Nice slide show - it's neat to see the ghosts of the next pic superimposed, don't know how you did that. Very mystical.

    1. A fluke! I think I messed up in the editing process....it was not intentional.

    1. Hi Annie. The tune is called 'Again' by Secrets in Stereo (instrumental). It was one You Tube had available/listed in the editing process.
      Glad you liked it.

  7. I saw cool water and mist and Sophie, of course. The fluke worked to your advantage.

  8. That was a great clip. I love fog -- it's so mysterious. Unless I'm driving; then fog is quite scary!
