Here's the scene:
It was the summer of 1979, Ron and I were heading west to Vancouver.
We were in our van (what else!) and had met our friend Stephen in Alberta
who was also moving to B.C.
It was 5 A.M. one morning when I woke up hearing this song blasting
from the radio as Ron and Stephen were singing their lungs out
driving down a highway in Oregon heading to Canada,
the last leg of our trip.
I thought I was dreaming but realized that this is just what some people did in 1979!!!
How would you react to being woken up to 'Bad Girls' at 5 A.M.?
