Even the rocks are pretty! I love sedum, too!
This white granite is everywhere along a portion of this shore, Liz.So many different sedums isn't there.
I wouldn't mind a 'Sophie on the rocks'!Plants are amazing, aren't they? They'll grow just about anywhere.
I don't think Sophie would mind that one little bit either, Martha! She is very partial to women.Yes, plants are pretty determined when they need a place to live and thrive.
Such pretty shots.
Thanks Fiona! This is a special place for us Nova Scotians.
Thanks Pat. It was easy to capture the beauty because it was everywhere....just had to plunk oneself down and start shooting.
You're such a ham Sophie and we love you for it! Lovely photos Jim!
You are so right Craig! Sophie will 'sit' for ever if she knows a camera is near!! lol
I just love sedum - it even grows for me here at altitude. I use it in my rock gardens. Sophie looks like she wants to swim.
And she did Barb! But not in the ocean behind her due to its dangerous rip currents. She swam in the tidal pools in these rocks.Sedum must be one of the hardiest plants around.
You not only have that wonderful shoreline, but plants as well!! Nature in all its wonderfulness...Enjoy it all, Cheers from Jean. p.s. we have sedum here in our garden too.
It's everywhere!! Must be a plant that spread the world over, Jean. These photos are of the South Shore in Nova Scotia....much different from our Eastern Shore where we live. Great contrasts.
Glorious captures, Jim!!! I also love your header.
Oh I love PEGGY'S COVE and totally amazed at the beauty there. Those are some MIGHTY ROCKS . LUCKY YOU!!!
