Yesterday was a bright, sunny, chilly winter day here.
That didn't stop us from taking advantage of this beautiful day.
So off we headed to Halifax and Point Pleasant Park....about 35 km.
Once Sophie realized that this is her favourite 'grassy' area in the world,
she started to roll all over the snow just in case she found some grass underneath!!
What a spectacular view this is, from atop one of the fortress's buttresses.
(say THAT 3 times!!)
The lighthouse on McNab's Island at the mouth of Halifax Harbour.
Container ship, one crow and some gulls.
Being a seaport, Halifax is always bustling along the waterfront.
