A Sign

Now if this isn't a sign of spring......

This gaggle of geese was seen on Sunday from MacDonald Hill.
They must be coming up from the south along the coast
and heading up north for spring.

  4. That is a favourite sign of mine, Jim. I love watching the geese return home. I'm on the lookout now for a robin. If they haven't already arrived somewhere nearby, they will be here any day now.

  5. I haven't seen a gaggle of geese for years. What a neat capture of them in flight. Thank you Jim for your support and caring during these difficult weeks in my life. It means so much to me.

    1. They fly and rest here, Inger, in the fall and spring on their way south or north.
You are most welcome. This is a very difficult time for you.

    1. Canada Geese know what they are doing....they better, Craig! But as cold as it is here, we know that spring is near....it's almost palpable.

  8. Jim, Sorry but they're just doing a fly-over. They're horrified by all the snow and ice, so they're making a U-turn.

    1. U-turns are not permitted in this area or time period, Barb!! lol
I just heard on radio that March will be like February here.....cold, snow, freezing rain. ......March came in 'like a lamb' and it will go out 'like a lion' this year.
