Saturday Morning Post

Sophie and I were on our own this week as Ron was recovering from flu/athsma.

At the beach one mid-morning.

On the Atlantic Trail (part of the Trans Canada Trail system).

Early Friday morning at the beach.

Dune grass.

The tiny community of Seaforth about 12 km down the shore from us.
This is part of the view from Sophie's daycare.

Another Friday morning shot.......sea mist.

A stark shot at Conrads Beach.

A very young Golden Doodle at daycare....one of Sophie's playmates yesterday.

Beech leaves hanging on like they sometimes do till spring.

'Coast is clear, Jim!' The 'second beach' at Conrads.

Oh right! It's still winter!!

Ice flows in stream at beach.

  1. The week that was... just perfect. apart from the Dad at home.. Get well very soon Ron, and join the other two out there in the cold, Nothing like really cold temperatures to kill any bug that dares to venture near. lovely photos, like flu, winter lingers a while yet. Cheers, and LOL, Jean.

    1. Actually Jean, Ron came out with us today for the first time in a week. He was very tired after but is fine now.
You would think that the cold would kill 'bugs' wouldn't you? But winter is the time these germs spread like wildfire!
We have two more months of winter.....but it is getting better. Have a wonderful Sunday evening Jean.

    1. Thanks! Yes Sophie does like to view things before she ventures forward! Good for us, as she would ward off any unwelcome animal.

  4. Nice shot of Seaforth - looks cozy. The beech leaves - looks artsy. Large boulders at the beach - nice! Sophie without Ron around - doesn't seem right somehow. I do hope he is feeling much better by now.

    1. Hi Sharon. I liked that one too of Seaforth. It was taken from the other side of the road....up at Mary's (daycare owner).
I know what you mean....where is Ron! He got back with us today though....so all systems go again.

    1. Hi Joanne. Two things may help keep it at bay: 1. Oil of oregano and 2. Apple cider vinegar.
