It's In The Air

On the edge
Seeping through softened  soil
Sensing air familiar
Of spring.
Oh the impudence!

  1. Now, with those words, my mind sprung, not to spring, but that lovely song " Love is in the air, everywhere I look around", and either love or spring or both, a beautiful day for you and down here for us too. Autumn has announced its early arrival, a few leaves have already started to change from green to a russet shade , but midday sun way too hot for either a mad dog or a garden worker to venture forth. Cheers to all, Jean.

  6. I wish, Jim! We're going into the deep freeze for the next few days, along with more snow last night, today, and tomorrow. I think our groundhog saw a shadow of his nose as he stuck it out of his burrow. Then fled backwards into his hidyhole as fast as he could go! Great post yesterday, gorgeous waves and a very important message. It also suggests that you can remember that when people are unkind of cruel to you that they are coming from a place of fear. At school we would always remind ourselves that most times we were NOT the target! Have a great day!

    1. Well as of tonight Louise we are back into a freeze for 10 days by the looks of it!....he said in that 'bluenose drawl'!!! lol
But our groundhog, Sam, didn't see his shadow so we are having spring sooner rather than later!

  10. Yes, the Iris' are starting to reed here! Silly plants they aren't out of the clear until March. But they are a tough little plant so maybe they'll pull through.

    1. Thanks Pat. I know you know when one sees a 'picture' in your mind, it just develops from there.
