How Cold Was It, Ron?

Yesterday we knew it was cold outside before we drove down to the beach.
But we forgot to take the 'windchill factor' into account.

It was -15C (including the windchill) as we started walking
down the boardwalk.
Halfway along we ducked behind the lifeguard building
to get out of that northwesterly wind.

Ron's hands were freezing up and he was expressing
his 'views' on the temperature!

Any guesses as to what he was saying?

I managed to get my fingers working enough to take these shots.

As Ron was truly expressing his disdain..........

  1. "Holy cow, it's freezing!" Is that what he said? Didn't think so...hahaha... But something to that effect, no doubt. We do forget about the windchill sometimes, don't we? And it makes it that much worse outdoors. I love this round of photos. Ron makes it clear how frozen he was. You are very brave souls going out in that type of weather! I'd be taking photos through my window! LOL...

    1. LOL! You get the gist Martha....the third word you used is exactly right (it was his first word) and the fourth word you used (his second) does start with an 'f'!
Normally Ron would have been the last to complain .......me being the first......but due to his 'new meds (blood thinners) he is not holding back!!

  8. did you know I'm much too nice of a catholic school girl to actually interpret Ron's words? I'm thinking there were a few 'f' words in there....like freezing, fun, fantastically frozen, etc. Am I right?

  12. Hey! Guess what! I have never heard them discuss the wind chill factor in England. Hmmm...if there is a reason for that, maybe so they just don't want people to know!
We have had some wonderful warm temps here...but there is a frost warning tonight, it might be in the 20's! Crazy weather, stay warm!!
