Eclectic Tastes

It was 16 years today that Ron's mother passed away.
We were with her in her house in the Annapolis Valley
of Nova Scotia.
This was and still is the 'Apple Blossom' centre for the Maritimes.

Her name was Tommy and she would have sung along to this tune.
We miss you Mrs.T.

  1. A lovely tune to honour her memory with, Jim. I hope she is resting in peace. No matter how long our loved ones are gone, there is still that ache in our heart.

  5. Is there any time more lovely than apple blossom time in the Annapolis Valley? Those pink-tinged avenues of blossoms, blue skies, buzzy buzzy bees, the fragrance on the warm breezes! I loved to climb into an apple tree and just hang out. How wonderful that Ron's mother got to stay in her home until the end and to be with you and Ron. Ron must be having a tough day. Please give him a big hug for me! Take care!

    1. Hi Louise. The 9th of March is always a tough day for Ron. That was a very difficult time for him but he got through it and I learned so much from the both of them during this time.....life changing.
Then you probably met Ron up in those trees in the Valley as this was a pastime for him too!! lol

  6. Dear Ron, my heart goes out to you this day. On March 30 will be the anniversary of my mom's departure from her earthly chains. Time changes so much when we lose them but moves so quickly that we long for the days of old. I'm sure miss her lovely smile and beautiful face. Thinking of you and Jim today...with love.
