Saturday Morning Post

Having been rudely interrupted by a hospital stint this week
today's post is a little shorter! (I heard that! lol)

On our way to Herring Cove....

The west end of Halifax is really changing with new buildings.

Heading south-west towards Herring Cove.

But first a stop at a 'new to us' cafe for lunch.

Sophie was really impressed with this new location.

Granite rocks everywhere for her to climb.

It was very cold along this shore last Sunday.

But hey! That didn't stop the 'three amigos' !!

The wind was whipping off the north Atlantic.

Coastal grass.

Time to get back to car.

One last look.....

Here's a video I took to give you a better feel for this place.

  1. Snow and ice to the ocean, rocks so slippery, warning signal to ships, your commentary was the perfect addition to the video, and stills, one great model. Take care, Jim, wrap up extra well on those cold days, with a wind factor thrown in for good measure. Greetings to all, Jean.
