  2. The true activist's creed! Nellie McClung was active for women's rights in both Manitoba and Alberta so her legacy and influence has always been around me, no matter where I have lived.

  4. I am assuming here that Ms.McClung was mainly referring to her 'political' opponents. Having a 'tough skin' is a prerequisite for any politician.

  8. Looks like a cool place. I know I would love that juke box. And how green it is where you live! Very pretty. And yes, I was hoping you would read my post of today and remind me what those things were called. You told me last year. Suckers, right? It's a good name because they suck strength from the tree, I guess. Half of them are now gone and I hope to do the rest tomorrow. I'm sooo slow these days.
