Words to live by!
Now that is an interesting thought : )
The true activist's creed! Nellie McClung was active for women's rights in both Manitoba and Alberta so her legacy and influence has always been around me, no matter where I have lived.
I like to take a softer approach - but like the spirit behind the words.
Oh, I like that one.
I am assuming here that Ms.McClung was mainly referring to her 'political' opponents. Having a 'tough skin' is a prerequisite for any politician.
I agree with her!
I know who wore the pants in that family! m.
Mark, I am sure she was a little different 'at home' than she was in Parliament.
Yes, please do tell us about that Maritime Museum exhibit! Thanks for the link!
The "Maxine" of her day!
I like her style !
Looks like a cool place. I know I would love that juke box. And how green it is where you live! Very pretty. And yes, I was hoping you would read my post of today and remind me what those things were called. You told me last year. Suckers, right? It's a good name because they suck strength from the tree, I guess. Half of them are now gone and I hope to do the rest tomorrow. I'm sooo slow these days.
Hey, I really like your comments and appreciate the time you took to do so.
