Ocean Power

It was wild at the beach this morning.

It was high tide and the waves were almost touching us as we sat and stared at nature's fury.

The good thing is that the sun was shining, the first time in a week.

Amazing how much you can miss sunshine. It is so vital to life.

  1. Those are some rough waters! I notice that Sophie isn't wet, pretty chilly up there today?
Our bad weather is supposed to come in maybe tomorrow and chances of rain for like 5 days, with a drop in the temps, yep, we do need our sunshine! Today was beautiful, that one last taste, had 79 degrees and beautiful blue skies. I hope your weather stays sunny!

  2. I can't imagine living so close to the ocean that you can just walk out the door and get to the beach. I looks rather chilly out there today but clears skies and sunshine are always gorgeous!

  5. Not a cloud in the sky...beautiful bright blue and there's lots of foam on the shore. You are so lucky to live near the ocean.

  10. there is no shortage of sunny days here in los angeles, and having grown up in southern cali, i am used to it. when i write about moving away, the ONE thing everyone warns me about is not having this kind of sunshine. i am curious to know how i will fare in a less sunny enviro. perhaps i will appreciate it more when it is out?
