The Shoot

Last week we were at the Park in Halifax. In the background, across the harbour, is the city of Dartmouth.

Ron was busy taking a video of Sophie and she was very obliging as long as she had Mr.Orangie.

Sophie is always a very willing participant for Ron.

She has been 'posing' now for five years and is pretty used to holding a pose and staying focused.

That is of course until something better catches her attention!

Like here. She must make sure that her prospective 'play mate' is something she can handle.

She will stare for some time.

Until she is certain it will be a fun endeavor.

Then, and only then will she stop the posing and do what dogs do!

I'm outta here!

  2. Was Ron crushed after being passed up for something better? I know how sensitive the Gays can be.

  9. Sophie is a very cooperative subject. I used to go to great lengths to photograph my dear, departed Gracie. I have so many pictures of her tail.

    1. When she and Ron are together they have a blast with each other.....they connect in a different way than I do with her........and the results speak for themselves.

    2. I'm sure that she has each of you trained to do something different and can play you against each other if the need arises.

  12. I didn't know you had to train them -- I just thought they were supposed to do it. Now I see why mine are so difficult to capture, always turn their heads the other way and so on.
