Life Is A Highway

Since I drove to the valley on Sunday, on the way home I had the luxury to be a passenger.

So with camera in hand I was ready for anything!

With just a lot of highway and trees in all directions for miles/kilometres,

I looked up and noticed these cloud formations.

I immediately started 'seeing things' up there!

There was a whale up there....honestly! And an albino Humpback at that!

See it's head and mouth at the top?

So with the image of  a whale in my head,

I nodded off.........

det finns ofta i våra tankar.
jag ser en massa händer som sträcker sig mot samma mål.
    Vacker serie av bilder.
    Hälsningar . .

How to interpret what you see
there is often in our thoughts.
I see a lot of hands stretching towards the same goal.

  5. But I see a dolphin.

The whale must have chased away by the dolphin.

  6. I love clouds and missed them so while living in Los Angeles all those years. Clouds there are few and far between. I see both dolphins and whales in your clouds. Great shots. And thank you so much for your kind words on Angel's passing. She was my protector for 13 years and now she lives in my heart.

I bet the cloud formations in the desert valley are a lot different.

  11. I opened this post and looked at just the photos. I thought, wow the clouds look like Humpbacks. Then I went back to the top and read.

    Thanks for sharing this.

  12. Yup, I see the whales, too. It's always so much fun just staring into the clouds and daydreaming. My husband does most of the driving, so I get to enjoy the view...and doze off once in awhile :)

I also meant to tell you that I've had Tom Cochrane's 'Life is a Highway' tune stuck in my head since I saw the title in this post. Hmmm...I wonder why!

  13. When you were a kid- did you ever lay on the grass and stare at the clouds--- guessing the shapes they were taking. Oh to have some of those times again--
