Saturday Morning Post

Let's go for a beach walk......

Park the car at the boardwalk...

And head to the first set of steps/boardwalk going over dunes...
you can see Sophie waiting patiently for me...

Head down towards the Atlantic Ocean....

And discover we are not alone....

Find a sandy beach and head east......

Take a few photos along the way....

Find half-buried treasures.....

Get a good close-up view....

Sophie heads back to see Ron who decided to soak it all up and pretend it's summer...

Notice a great sky and sea......

And call it a day.

  1. It's really hard to believe that these re the same views as the hard frozen landscape we saw only a few weeks ago. How quickly things change. Love the beach and sky views!

  2. Beautiful, absorb it all before the days get too hot to wander without an umbrella for shade, or maybe a dip in the ocean to cool down.

    1. I will Jean. Luckily it is usually a little cooler at the beach all summer long but there will be a few days that are scorching!

    1. Isn't it, Debra. I have never seen one this size before....usually large wharf sections come ashore for a while.
This will be back out on its journey soon.....I hope.

  8. I enjoyed ever bit of this walk with you, Jim! The tire was really cool! I'm considering building an ark out here. I'm not complaining though, because ever drop of rain in an arid world is precious! Have a good one!

    1. I thought you would like this walk....again, Louise. We need some rain to dampen things down...I never thought I'd be saying this after the winter we had.
A good weekend to you too!!

  10. Beautiful day! (Too bad about the wheel and tire... they shouldn't be there. The human animal is so very careless... Sigh)

    1. I totally agree, Sharon. If it wasn't so big and heavy it would be removed....but also it is too far down the beach away from where any vehicle could reach.
Sadly, it will be washed out to sea again during a storm or very high tide and continue its journey.
