Turning A Country Dog Into A City Dog

As you may have gathered we are in the city
quite often through the week.

And since Sophie is with us
usually we head directly to the park.

Now that the city sidewalks are cleared of snow and ice
we have been 'hitting the streets' so to speak.

Soph always gets a kick out of this when we do
as she gets to sniff 'city things' which are abundant.

It takes her a few minutes to get her bearings
but once she does it as if she was a 'city dog'.

  1. Just what any girl need occasionally a " City Fix" hope there were good eateries. Cheers, jean. p.s. still looks a tad cool, with beanie, neck warmer ,gloves, and super thick jacket.

    1. Hi Jean. There are plenty of good eateries! This photo was taken last week and it was cool! Hey, we live in a province that is almost completely surrounded by the ocean and all those cold winds. We are always prepared for anything and have a box in the car just for clothes.

    1. Hi Kathy. Yes being in the city has its benefits once in a while.
We are having a slightly cooler spring than usual around here. Hope it warms up for you soon too.

    1. Teddy has her priorities Joyce! I think Sophie could live anywhere....as long as there were smells!!

  4. I think you would all do very well, living in the city with all the hustle and bustle and glorious smells. Of course, the quiet of the country and the ocean side can have its advantages, too. You live in the best of both worlds!

  5. Our dogs are the same way, they love the smells of the city but in the end, there's no place like home in the country--More stinky things to roll in! :-)
