Rain Or Shine

It's been a very cool, as in cold, spring here in the Maritimes*.
But that doesn't stop a lot of folks from getting out into/onto the water.

* Maritimes, in Canada, refers to the three provinces of New Brunswick,
Prince Edward Island and Nova Scotia.

If we were to include the province of Newfoundland/Labrador in the group
they would all called the Atlantic Provinces.

There you have it students!

  7. Nice photograph, Jim! That sail is a fantastic focal point. It was pretty cool here until a couple of days ago, and all of a sudden BAM, it really warmed up! This heat may be coming your way!

  8. Nfld it's great mountains and oceans and the fact that I had no idea what they were saying, even though I'm fluently bilingual, that English though that was special, I'd also love to move there, come By Chance was wonderful as well has NB we didn't stay long enough in NS just passing through \i think...Surrounded by oceans, i'd be in heaven, but so much stands in my way....

    1. Thanks Pat. That sail certainly made this shot on an otherwise very gray day.

  10. I'm so confused, Teach! I thought Newfoundlands were "Working Dogs" and Labradours [sic] were "Retrievers." Now you tell me they're "Atlantic Provinces." I've never heard of that classification.

    But I like the sailboat.
