On another evening last weekend the sun's rays were

defining this wooden plant stand.

What is otherwise a dark but very functional piece of oak,

was transformed into an etching of sorts........

suspended in the air.

Got me thinking about where this stand was made and when.....

I suspect Nova Scotia back in the early 20th century.

It is another item of furniture that has been in Ron's family

for generations now.

  4. I'm visualizing you crawling around on the floor and yelling to Ron "Quick, get the vacuum cleaner out, I want to take a photo but there is fluff on the floor"! I wonder where that came from (S)?
The stand looks mighty artistic - lovely lighting.

    1. Yes it is indeed everything. Now learning to use it correctly or in a manner you want is the key for an acceptable end product.

    2. That it does, Martha. We'd be pretty lost without it I would imagine.
