Ain't THAT the truth! So often, I am not a good friend to myself.
Wonder how easy it was for the fellow that lost his boot, to get home. Hmm... maybe he didn't....Good Morning, Jim!Buddha was right there!
Sharon, it was probably a fisherman's boot. We get debris that is lost or thrown overboard. I just couldn't resist 'recording' it.
Poor old rubber boot.
So true, a slip of an unguarded word can have dire consequences! Lovely photography as usual! Have a stunning day! xoxo
I wondered where my boot went!! ;-))A good start to start my day, thanks Jim!
That's a thought that needs to be rolled over and over in the mind. Thanks, Jim!
So true!!! Do you ever find washed up treasure chests? xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Tracey, I'll certainly will let YOU know if I do!!
I agree. Nice boot! So good to be back here and seeing what you have on your mind :) It's funny how someone you've never met can seem like such a good friend. Thank you and Ron for your kindness. ~ bobbi
We are sometimes our own worst enemy, that's true! Great thought to start my afternoon! :)
"Your worst enemy cannot harm you as much as your own unguarded thoughts.".....Buddhahow very true and how very aptx
That's so true! It's no wonder why we're often our own worst enemy!
Yes, but those bad thoughts pop up before I even know they're there!
Awww Jim, What a lovely quotation. It really hit home after the year I have just had. And the picture of the boot complements the sentiment perfectly....you talented chap you!
We certainly can be our own worst enemy sometimes.I love your creative eye for photography.
Well, if that isn't a good kick in the pants, I don't know what is : )
