Eclectic Tastes

My favourite year in school was grade 8....1961-1962.
I had a great group of friends and we did everything together
and had lots of fun.
Once we appeared on a local TV dance show and had a ball!!
Got in trouble with the parish pastor and nuns, but it was worth it.

Great music that year too and this was one of the hits.
Things appeared so simple back then, nothing really that complicated.

Hope you have a wonderful Sunday everyone.

  1. " Rubber ball" was about the only single that my teenage friend and I owned, and we played it over and over in her bedroom ! Good times. We are still in touch, though sadly her husband died a couple of months ago. ( He was previously married to my husband's cousin…small world )

  3. Good years, I turned 21, then we were married. Life was safe, simple, easy. music was great, you could understand the words, and all was good in the world. How it changes in those 54 years!!!Lovely music to start my week, 6.30 a.m. here 7.6Celsius, sunshine peeping up somewhere, and a fine hot day ahead.

It is 5:02 PM here, +5C, getting dark and I will not be seeing any stars as it is overcast. We are expecting a rain storm tomorrow and wouldn't you know Sophie is scheduled to go to daycare!! She'll love it. Then on Wednesday a snow storm! YEAH!
