Saturday Morning Post

As the weather is improving here, I hope to soon get back to my regular Saturday posts
filled with lots of photos of the previous week.

But until then, here are a couple of recent shots.

I took this one from 'my perch. at the shop last Sunday.
Good to see hikers back on MacDonald Hill.

And this was taken yesterday as we entered Birch Cove Park in Dartmouth.
I loved how the tree was reflecting onto Lake Banook.

Here's to a good Saturday/Sunday to you all!

    1. They each needed some 'help' Jeanne. Like painting, I guess, to some degree.

  2. Absolutely stunning, love what you did with the second photo, ps, if you want to visit 10 at a time, I suggest you just visit when you can, because I know my laptop is on its last leg, I don't know how much longer it will continue, and have a great weekend!

  5. I love that blue of the sea, but I guess it isn't quite real?

    1. That is correct, Frances. I sometimes give the photo a 'punch' for colour. Some photos need help.
But of course the blue you see in the photo is real, just not what I saw when taking it.

  6. Nice "layering" effect of the textures in your photos, Jim. You have a keen sense of place.

    1. Oh thanks, Barb. I enjoy seeing what I can do to improve a photo. Sometimes it works, and sometimes it doesn't....as I am sure you have experienced.

  9. So tempting to enlarge your photo/paintings to huge proportions, print them on canvas, and hang them everywhere!
