Saturday Morning Post

A great weather week....

Hitting the trail down at the beach.

Sophie waiting for us down on the sand.

Ron at the Northwest Arm in Halifax.

Sophie looking attentively at.......Mr.Orangie!!

Back at the beach....

Loving the chartreuse colour of spring trees.

Sophie going through the dune grass.

What gorgeous little puppy! I'm busy!!

Getting some shade.

Who's this happy fella?

Not afraid to stand out.

We finally felt it was time to lay Rita, our cat, to rest on her favourite spot under the maple.
She died in March 2005. Ashes can be seen up by the base of trunk.

  2. I have 2 boxes of ashes on my shelf from my beloved labs Gracie and Mooch. We can't seem to let go of them yet. It is hard to do isn't it. I love the pictures of Sophie romping on the beach. They have so much enjoyment from the water don't they?

    1. You will know Chania when the time is right.....if ever maybe. I was just looking at that spot under the maple and thought of Rita and said, it's time to let her rest. We have the ashes of our dog Jessie we had for 16 years. We may release her this summer at her favourite swimming place...the river down the road.
Sophie loves the beach the best...she was brought up there mostly for first two years.

    1. That building is owned by the province and there is a great cafe there, as well as surf shop, an artists gallery and vintage clothing. The view from there is super! Ron and SOphie there a lot...MacDonald's Hill.

That is such a wonderful spot for Rita to be laid to rest. She's purring away for all eternity.

    1. My pleasure Linda. From any place in Nova Scotia one can easily access the ocean. It is a small province in this great country of ours.
