Photographic Potpourri from Peggy's Cove

Which way is up?

This little inlet led to a tiny beach of crushed granite sand.

Do you see what I see?

A very hardy 'shore evergreen' living in a rock crevice.

Looks like a furry mammoth having a 'dip'!

Sky-blue plus algae green equals colourful eco-system.

And from high on above.....Ms.Sophie.

  1. The " Furry Mammoth" gets my 100% tick of super approval for one stunning photo, but Ms Sophie takes the cake for first prize. What a look, I wonder what her thoughts were? Lovely scenery at Peggy's Cove, it's on my list!! Greetings from Jean

  3. OH, what a beautiful post and Sophie lording over it all!
That green plant looks like some kind of sedum to me. If so, it would be related to the red diamorpha on Arabia Mountain. They might be cousins!!

    1. Kay you are correct...I think it is a native sedum. And to think that it was separated from its family in Georgia so many years ago!! lol
