Sophie and Me and the Flu Bug

It's been just me and Sophie facing the 'wilds' of Nova Scotia the past few days!

You see, Ron has been dealing with a flu bug that loves to reappear it seems.

And he does 'deal' very well with his 'sick periods'. He is so quiet and never complains!!

Unlike myself, when I get sick I need a LOT of TLC!! You know how that can help things, right?

So how about you? Are you a 'good patient' or a 'needy patient'?

It has been good though for Soph and I to spend some outside time together.

Depends on how sick I am.....if really sick yes leave me alone. If not too bad, I like all the attention I can get!!

    2. And Sophie does!! She is so cute when one of us is 'under the weather'. She will sit very near, almost on top, us and stay with us for as long as it takes. She is wonderful company and therapy.

It seems most woman are quieter when sick....why is that? Probably in your collective 'make-up'. You have to be, otherwise the world as we know it would collapse!

  12. I'm sorry for him. I'd like to be a needy patient but there's no point because I have to take care of myself. I don't know why the dogs don't bring me tea and tuck me into bed.

    Love,
    Janie

  14. I just found your blog and was admiring your beautiful pictures on your past posts. To be near the sea – that must be so great! and with a friendly dog, even better. Here, we would have to drive at least 5 to 6 hours down to Savannah, and we don’t go there often. Fortunately we are flying to San Francisco soon for several days, so we’ll be close to the sea then.

    1. Thanks Barb. This was the first year that we didn't get the flu shot, thought we would try that for one year. It hasn't been all that bad but this last bout put us both done for 48 hours.
      He is better today.
