Out Of The Depths......

I could hear something...

but I wasn't exactly sure what it was.

A splashing sound was very audible......

and snorting.........

 OMG!! What is THAT?!

Was it a drowned rat?

Oh! It's you Soph!!

She couldn't be more happy that she can finally jump into the ocean!!!
(without any fear of freezing to death!!)

    1. That is for sure Jean! It must be warmer to her but NOT to us!! Enjoy your rain as long as it's not torrential.

    1. Mitch, you should see her expression when we approach this area in the park....she looks up at us with this pleading look on her face...'please please may I go in?'
      She's one happy puppy!

  10. Is it really warm enough for Sophie. well, she looks like she's just fine, wet, but fine.

I have to tell you how touched I was by your comment on my first post of this year's A to Z Challenge. And please thank Ron and Sophie for their support. I just got home from a day in town, dentist, shopping, errands, etc. so I am done for today. I will thank them tomorrow. You know, I felt so insecure this year about this challenge. I know I'm a pretty good technical writer, but from there to telling a story is a huge step, I think. So I'm working on it and on overcoming my fear of having others read my stories. As you know, that is the only way to grow. That said, I'm feeling better after getting so many good comments these last few days. Just wait until I get to the middle of the alphabet!! How about Route 66 and Winslow, Arizona and all that? Again, I thank you and Ron and Sophie Doodle for your friendship and support.

    1. Inger, to hear of someone's journey to a new country and leaving behind family and friends, is so intriguing and inspirational in so many ways. I look forward to the rest of 'your story'.

    1. Hi Fiona. Hope your Paris trip was just what you needed!!
We are a bit more south (but not much)here in Nova Scotia than Sweden and I am sure Oscar is waiting patiently for his first dip in the lake for 2013!!
