Thanks Martha. I was listening to CBC radio on Sunday afternoon and they had a retrospective/documentary about Leonard Cohen. I have followed his career since the 70's and have admired his work. This quote stood out for me.
This wall Nancy is very old and is in a park in Halifax. We've walked past it so many times that I decided the other day to stop and 'capture' it. Thanks.
I enlarged this photo - so many textures and colors. (Also some green!) Jim, send me an e-mail when you get a chance - I have a heart article to share.
I just heard this morning that he is coming to Halifax in April on his Canadian tour!! Last time I saw him here was in 1969! I think we have both changed since then....a bit!
Hey Jim! I'm too tired to see straight, so that's why I had to do my comment over. You could have used this quotation for one of your Contemplative Mondays posts. You have to be cracked open and let the light in a few times before you gain any wisdom! I hope you had a good day.
Beautiful image, Jim, and great quote/lyrics by Leonard Cohen from his song 'Anthem'.

ReplyDeleteGlad that this is one of your favourites Debra! It was difficult to find a somewhat appropriate photo for it.
