It's All Their Fault!....I Wouldn't Have Done It Otherwise!.............Contemplative Monday

Don't you think that this 'lesson' by Pema Chodron could be a great way to learn to live in the new year?

BLAME AND JUSTIFICATION

"You could begin to notice whenever you find yourself blaming others or justifying yourself.

"If you spent the rest of your life just noticing that and letting it be a way to uncover the silliness

" of the human condition-----the tragic yet comic drama that we all continually buy into----

"you could develop a lot of wisdom and a lot of kindness as well as a great sense of humour."

Practicing with my new macro lens on my morning Matcha tea.

Quote taken from Pema Chodron's 'Heart Advice' newsletter of December 28, 2011.

  1. Tell us about your new lens? What sort of camera? Is it a 'baynot' attachment to the camera body? and, most importantly, emmachisit?

  6. The first step is to recognize our actions. Only then can we advance from drinking radioactive tea.

  8. John.......I have a Nikon D90 and the new lens is a Nikon DX AF-S Micro Nikkor 40 mm 1:2.8G.

I am still in the process of learning more about 'macro' photography. I thought that since I like photos 'up close and personal' why not take the next step! Or at least 'Santa' thought the same thing I guess!!

  11. So glad you gave us info on the green bubbly stuff... I still don't think I could drink it though - unless I was blindfolded before it came to the table. :-)

  14. "emmachisit" is Aussie rhyming slang for "How much is it?" or, "What does it cost?" LOL!
