Sunday's Selection

I love Joshua Bell's version of this piece by Dvorak's 'Songs My Mother Taught Me'.

My mother died four years ago on Mother's Day. At her funeral I wanted the string quartet we had hired to play this Dvorak song. They didn't have time to arrange it. So this goes out today to my mother and to all of your mothers as well.

Have a great Mother's Day everyone!

  13. Jim, I'm catching up here. I didn't know that your mother had passed away on Mother's Day! How infused with meaning that day will always be, more than ever. I hope it is not a painful day for you each year; I hope that good memories will fill your heart.
And I'm glad to read (on my blog) that you are going to treat yourself to a massage. That would make my Nana very happy indeed!
