Lines Water and Clouds

Monday morning I took this photo down at the beach.
It has been springlike around here for a few days
even though it is still February in Nova Scotia.
Who knows what Mother Nature has in store for us?
I think we are getting a little anxious for winter to leave.

How is Mother Nature been in your 'neck of the woods'?
She loves to play with us this time of year.

  2. We have got a ground frost this morning…only about the 4/5th time this winter. Otherwise it has been mainly warm and wet. It means that the dog and I can walk on the nearby field as it will be hard, rather than muddy this morning! I don't do mud if I can help it!

    1. Oh spring with all its MUD! But it does dry out eventually....at least around here it does, Frances.

  3. we have had extra hot days, the last few a little cooler, Hugh is up on the Central Plateau!! Yes, by himself. Up there, a much higher altitude than at home here, 40C in the daytime, and almost a frost this morning. Home tomorrow, so normal meals will have to resume.

    1. By himself?! You must have been a tad anxious about that, Jean?!
Seems like you are getting an unfair amount of very hot temperatures this year.

    1. It's all in the 'wrist action', Mitchell!! lol ( I don't know where that line comes from....maybe a Canadian thing!)

It sounds like Mother Nature was playing with you guys, not wanting to be taken for granted.

  5. We've had such a mild winter here, I haven't plugged in my car once all winter. NOT ONCE!

  6. It does look like spring there, Jim. We've also had some warmer temps this February, though Bob says it's "normal" to have this tease of spring in the middle of winter. When it gets to be May and the snow keeps falling, I might get a little testy when I see spring in other parts of the world!

  7. PS I like that muted, misty Header.

  8. It's been pretty mild here. We did get a huge dump of snow last week and February hasn't been too nice to us, but it's still been an easy winter.
