Farewell Annabel

As I had mentioned a few days ago, my aunt Annabel,
my mother's sister, was not doing well.
She died today around noon very peacefully with her family at her side.

This is Annabel with my Dad this past May.
She will be missed by us all.

My aunt loved music and loved to dance.
This piece is dedicated to her and  in celebration of her life.

  1. Oh, Jim, I'm so sorry. Your aunt was such a beautiful lady. I loved the gentle smile on her face, how her eyes seemed to twinkle. My deepest condolences to you and your family during this tragic time.

  2. The older we get
The more losses we have eh

  3. Sorry to see that, Jim. Sending some hugs.

  4. I had to sing along. What a great choice to play tribute to your aunt. I'm so glad she passed peacefully into the continuum.

  5. Bless your sweet Aunt. Love that music. Here's to Annabel.

  6. Post titles that feature the word "Farewell" usually do not contain good news. I'm so sorry Jim, but I'm glad she passed peacefully. xo

  7. Peaceful, with family , what more would your beloved Annabel have wanted at the end of her wonderful life. Your musical tribute is perfect , she would have lived her life to the fullest.

Time is too slow for those who wait,
Too swift for those who fear,
Too long for those who grieve,
Too short for those who rejoice,
    But for those who love,
    Time is eternity.
Most loving thoughts to you and all your family , Jean.

  8. Sad news. My condolences to you and your/her family.

  9. Great song!
What an amazing time period she lived in.
I bet she could tell some stories.

  10. What a beautiful woman. I love the song that you chose to honor her.

  11. I'm so sorry, Jim. My condolences to all of you. May she rest in peace.

  12. I'm so sorry to read this, Jim. It's good that she was with those who loved her.

  13. To leave a well-lived life surrounded by loved ones. It's a good way to say goodbye. Condolences to all of you who will miss her.

  14. Sweet journey dear Annabel.
Peace and love to you and yours Jim.
