All That Glitters......


Sitting on the opposite shore of the Northwest Arm 
watching this sailboat whip by the other day.

    1. It was Martha....sun glitter! At certain times of the day and when the sun is in the western sky this area can be flooded with glitter.

    1. Actually they were Louise! With the right ripple and sun location it creates this beautiful effect. The water-glitter was jumping all over the place.

  10. We used to watch the sailboats "races" on the Chesapeake Bay. I thought race as applied to sailboats was an oxymoron.
