The weather is pretty much the same way here, and we're having a snowstorm today. I woke up to a real winterland this morning, and the snowfall isn't done yet!
I heard Martha you guys in Ontario got hammered last night!! My cousin in Oshawa said she got a lot there. Hang in there and I expect (lol) a few photos of proof!!
Nothing like a brisk winter breeze! And to think I complained because it was only 16 here yesterday afternoon. A difference of 36 degrees C (64F degrees difference)!!! I'm going outside to enjoy the sunshine!
wow, blowing winds like that - looks like hard to drive along moments. be safe. we are wondering if we will get snow here? but i think it will be more north. oh well. be safe. big hugs too!! ( :
And your temperature is dropping, Jim ~ according to my husband who follows weather all over the world where extended family and friends are living! I know you aren't supposed to get the snow accumulation of Boston, but that nor'easter looks dicey for Nova Scotia with the wind and temperatures. Stay safe! We get the blowing snow across the roads fairly often in Colorado when there is snow. We call them ground blizzards ~ it's freaky because they're only about 1-2 feet high and very swirly. Gotta go! Bye!
Hey Louise! Now we know who to ask for our weather! Thanks Terry!! We are going to get hit tonight and all day tomorrow.....lots of snow, just like the old days! We have a guy with a plow ready to clear the driveway whenever he can get here. We just got back from city and the shops are jammed with people stocking up! I like the look of those ground blizzards....thanks.
I was thinking of you today as I watched the news of the big storm we've dubbed "Nemo." Who comes up with these names??? Anyway, hope you are hunkered down, safe and warm. take care.
Suddenly it doesn't seem so cold here...
ReplyDeleteLOL! Walt, enjoy what you have. Thanks for dropping by.
