Eclectic Tastes

Speaking of the weather......who better to tell us his feelings for winter
than Vivaldi (click) with this 'Winter Allegro'.

He also happens to be Ron's favourite classical composer
to whom I dedicate this piece.

Enjoy and have a wonderful Sunday.

  1. Very nice to listen to this and then look over all your photos from your recent posts.
Also, you know the vegetarian restaurant photos that you have on here, I think those are some great shots. I used to enjoy vegetarian restaurants in England very much, they don't seem to have as many as they once did, besides Fish & Chips, that was my favorite kind of place to eat.

    1. Hi Kay. Glad you enjoyed this piece! I had an uncle who made the BEST Fish and Chips in the city. Time for some soon.

  2. Vivaldi's a fave of mine too. And I love these animated videos that give such visual life to the musical notes! It's like seeing the music dance!

  8. My mom would love this piece -- and I have tried to get her to visit your site, but she is a-feared of the evils of the Interwebs, so I'll just have to try and describe it to her. :) xo

  9. Ron has excellent taste (and not just in music, winky winky as Sophie would say).

  10. A musical favorite of mine, too, Jim! ~ Actually one of my most favorite passages of all! I'm going to have to dig out my Vivaldi Four Seasons CD. It would have been the perfect counterpoint to our blizzard winds yesterday! Maybe in the next life I can be a violinist! Maybe it's not too late for this one! I hope that you are having a good day!
