This is fascinating on its own, but even more so if it is the same sunset shown by Ron. Both sets of photos are just gorgeous, but so very different. Taken from different viewpoints, perhaps?
Thanks. Same places but different cameras and eyes, Carol. I had no need to edit these at all so they are SOOC, Straight Out Of Camera. The light was simply as you see it here and the cameras responded accordingly.
To be more accurate, Carol, Ron's photos were taken about 10 minutes earlier than mine down at the beach. Mine were taken after his up on MacDonald Hill. As you know, 10 minutes can make a huge difference when the sun is rising or setting.
LOL! I won't even go in the ocean in the summer, Bruno! I may get in in September when the water is the 'warmest'. You would have had a ball with this sunset, like you do with your sunrises from your balcony.
Well Keith, that moment last evening was begging us to look and and be astounded. The sun as you can see in that photo had a very narrow gap through which to show itself.
Jim- you made it just in time to catch those last beautiful rays!! Gorgeous photos!! I love that you guys love the beach in all seasons-- we are alike in that way! Vicki
There is beauty Vicki, as you know, in all of the seasons. And we were fortunate enough to witness this one event. Good to see you 'up and around' again.
Lovely! Sunset and beach are two things that really go well together, no matter where you are. It satisfies the eyes and calms the soul. :) Do you often do this? I wouldn’t be a bit surprised because it can give you different pictures, and yet still be splendid as always. This reminds me of the TV soap opera during the 90s – the Sunset Beach – by the way. :)
Thanks Darius. I see that you have a lot of experience with sunsets and beautiful beaches along the Gulf! A tad cooler up here but still beach beauty at its best! Thanks for stopping by.
