Contemplative Monday

The following is from 'Heart Advice, Weekly Quotes from Pema Chodron:

TRAIN IN THE THREE DIFFICULTIES

"The three difficulties (or the three difficult practices) are:

1. to recognize your neurosis as neurosis,

2. then not to do the habitual thing, but to do something different

to interrupt the neurotic habit, and

3. to make this practice a way of life.

    1. I'd say one step at a time Fiona. Then move to the next, as one gets more comfortable.

  4. Hi Jim! I admit it; I'm insane. I just keep doing the same things over and over again, hoping for a different result! Sometimes it actually happens! Just enough to keep me going around in circles! Your images are spectacular ~ like abstract paintings! I especially love the second. You could frame and sell that! I hope that you are having a good start to the week!

    1. They are very wise, Ivan. I was looking for something very light for photos here as the subject matter tends to be very heavy. Balance, all in the balance!

  6. But it can be so tiring doing something different all the time.
