Road Work Ahead

Our days are usually filled with one 'road' or another.

Whether it be to get from A to B,
or making a decision about something that was on our mind.

Either way, roads make up an important part in our lives.

One I made last year was to 'work' again...... for two days a week.
I am happy with that decision.

Have you taken any roads lately that have led to something you weren't expecting?

  1. Well, I am on the " Quilting trail", the Wiggle me sew along led me to another blog, and now I am in, boots and all, for another online quilt. This time it is over many months, a bit like you in your new job, a few days a week, meeting new people, either in reality or online or email , and it is motivating, invigorating, challenging, and so rewarding. Love the path you have in your photo.

    1. I like to follow you, Jean, on the 'roads' that you take or have taken. You choose very challenging and rewarding ones.

  2. I love exploring yet conquered, dusty dirty roads. And getting lost.
Great capture, it begs the imagination to look further on.

  4. I should take the road less traveled at the moment as I feel I am in a cul-de-sac. Your blog is lovely. Gorgeous photos!

    1. Good to meet you, Simone. Thanks for stopping by.

  5. I can look back at my life and see unexpected turns in the road with life-altercating consequences! Nothing life-altering in recent months, just the delight of being with family, friends, and exploring. But I have to say, stumbling into the brick-walled back alleys of Victoria's Chinatown was amazing; a big thrill! Have a great day, my friend!

    1. That last 'road' you mention, Louise, sounds so inviting!! Did you try any of the food in Chinatown?
