Eclectic Tastes

My brother, Dennis, sent me this tune last night....a warm-up he said
for Thanksgiving dinner at his place today!!

Yes, it's Thanksgiving weekend and I wish my Canadian friends the best!

Have a wonderful Sunday everyone.

  1. I have learnt something this morning….I didn't know that Canada had " Thanksgiving" . Wikipaedia says that it corresponds to our " Harvest Festival", but it sounds much more than that. Harvest festival is rarely heard of unless you are a churchgoer or school child. Perhaps farmers celebrate it here, but I doubt it. Have a great dinner with your family…….it's a good excuse to get together! Best wishes to you, Ron, and all your Canadian readers. X ( and Sophie of course )

    1. Hello Frances! Thanks so much!
Thanksgiving in Canada is a big deal and we have it a month before the US has theirs.
A perfect time for Canadians as it is harvest season all over the country.
Yes, will be good to see some of my family this afternoon.
      Have a good day.

  5. This song is incredible. Thanks to your brother Dennis (and you for passing it on)! Sounds a bit like Buckwheat Zydeco style. Happy Canadian Thanksgiving! We've got Spain Day Monday, which not coincidentally coincides with Columbus Day in the USA. Uf! Now, son-of-a-bitch (not you, just in general), gimme a drink!!!

  6. Oh, Jim, a drink with you and Ron would be like Christmas, Thanksgiving, and Spain Day all rolled into one!
