Election Day in Canada

Image result for election canada

Election day was yesterday in Canada.
It was a big one!
Being the 'political junkie' that I am,
I feel it was time for things to change.
And since I wrote up this post last evening
before the election results were broadcast,
I did not know how things went.

Let's put it this way.......
if the present government remains in power
you will not be seeing us (Ron, Sophie and I) for a while
as we will be packing and moving to Sweden!!

I'll let you know.

  1. Sweden,, no way, come down south, plenty of room, you could have a shop here, a stream for Sophie, and loads of photo ops for Ron, The cost to ship all household goods varies, from NZ $10,000 to over $22,000. Let me know, I'll bake a cake and set the fire!!!

  2. Hmmm, looks like Justin swept in, with 185 seats. I'll put the cake in the freezer, and won't bother to set the fire!! Be happy, there will be changes, and I am sure the results make you settled where you are.

    1. It would have been worth every cent, Julie. Couldn't take another day with Harper in control.

    1. Actually, Joyce, any of the Scandinavian countries would do. They seem to fit my politics quite nicely.
But you are right, no running away for now.

  7. So happy for Canada, but if things had gone another way, you could have flown non-stop from Stockholm to Málaga very cheaply, I think!
