Eclectic Tastes

Feist,  (click) a Canadian musician and singer, does a great job I feel
with the Constantines on this classic 'Dolly and Kenny' tune.
I heard this on CBC radio the other evening and it stayed in my head.

Give it a minute to get going and you may appreciate its simplicity.

Have a wonderful Sunday everyone.

  1. Beautiful rendition, harmony, words you can understand, background music that doesn't drown their beautiful voices. I could listen to this all day/night. I had only heard Dolly and Kenny singing it, so must see if I can find it and save. for future listening many times. A lovely finish to our Sunday, here we have had rain and a cold wind, further North on the Mountains, blizzard conditions, skiers had to be escorted down . Have a great week ahead Jim. And ,naturally, hugs to Sophie and a big Hello to Ron, in case I miss them.

  3. My Rare One and I heard this on the radio the other night too and we couldn't figure out who the hell it was. She was plumping for Leonard Cohen but it just didn't quite sound like him to me. And neither one of us knew who the woman singing could be. So thanks for the info!

    1. Too funny, Debra! At first we were baffled as well....then it started to sound familiar.....the tune that is, had no clue who was singing it either. It was on 'As It Happens' here.
