I like dry land, the drier the better these wet winter days. Leave me behind, I say.
Oh an 'landlubber' are we, Jean!? I totally get it!!
no way! i get SO seasick!
I hear you, Joyce, nothing worse!
Well, Jim, seasick could be a problem! I love sailing and being on the water, but would definitely get bored. (A week at sea, however, would be heaven.)
I hear that one does eventually become adjusted to the constant motion/rolling around but.......
I've never even gone sailing on a sailboat in a lake, so I think I'll pass.
I understand, Debra. I sailed around the harbour here once and that was exhilarating....can't imagine ocean sailing!
What a gorgous picture. I would not get seasick, but I would get bored. I grew up on the Baltic, sailing in a rocky (above and below) water archipelago. That was challenging and fun. Then we had a boat here and sailed around the Los Angeles coast line, over to Catalina Island, and it was great, but sort of boring too. After a while.... I couldn't imagine doing it around the world.
Inger, I remember your blog post about your time spent in and around the archipelago......how fortunate you were to have done this.Yes, around the world does seem a little much for some.
The boat would have to be a lot bigger than that one!!! LOL I'd cruise around the world! Have a good one!
I think I could entertain that as well, Louise....the bigger the better!!
Hey, I really like your comments and appreciate the time you took to do so.
