Saturday Morning Post

From rails to telephone poles and everything in between......

Actually this part of trail at the beach used to be railway tracks back in the 70's.

Waited for this freight train to pass on way to Point Pleasant Park
in the south end of Halifax.

These two can always be found on MacDonald Hill.

 Wild flowers at park.

Ron shooting away.....

Seaweed and shoeprint.

Looking out into the Atlantic.

 Cormorant drying wings.

Summer scene.

Wild flowers at the beach.

'Splendour in the grass"

Fog and mist on this particular morning at beach.

Looking out at dark skies and sunshine together from window in MacDonald House.

  5. Beautiful set of photos, Jim! Looks like you three amigos have just as much fun out there we do here, and that you find joy in the simple things in life like us. Best way to go through life! That seaweed and shoeprint photo really caught my eye. Very cool image!

  9. Further to your comment on my blog -- I ADORE Watership Down! It is my favourite novel of all time. If you can, be sure to watch the animated movie afterwards -- it is a wonderful adaptation of the novel, especially of the rabbits' mythology.

  11. I'm playing catchup so I'm way back here! I especially love the vistas around Ron and Sophie on the Hill. Also, the seaweed and the fog are spectacular. Plus the wildflowers - OK, all of them!
