Easily Amused

Usually when we are at the beach, like yesterday morning,
I am looking far out into the vast Atlantic Ocean.

And occasionally I look down at the interaction between the sand and the water
and am always delighted at what I see:

 I am easily amused.

  1. Lovely contrasts, and #2, almost a fantasised map of New Zealand, did I see our place anywhere? Every one is beautiful, as nature intended, and your eye captured them all for us to share . Thanks, Jean.

  5. I am the same. I love watching the water going back and forth, and if I'm there long enough, I like to notice how much the tide has changed. For me there is no better feeling than having my feet in the sand!

  8. It's the simple things that amuse us, are most endearing, and cost the least.

(sorry, I cannot spell before happy hour...and then I don't care)

  11. Beautiful photos, Jim! I love the constantly changing play of color, shape, and texture where water meets sand ~ which you captured so well. Being easily amused enriches your life and increases your happiness. I consider being easily amused one of the greatest gifts I was blessed with in life ~ right up there with Big T! I'd suggest counting your blessing, but I know you do already! Keep on being happy and engaged!

  13. Me too, only here the sky is my ocean.
I visualized your sandpiper series yesterday when I did my stretching exercises. I could even hear the sounds.
