Lonely, I'm Mr.Lonely....

Sophie and I have been 'on our own' all week.

Ron has been trying to shake a very bad cold since last Saturday.

So it has been just me and Soph on our daily walks.

Wherever we go she is very familiar with the area .

She is usually in the lead and always stops for me to catch up.

A particular favourite of hers are these grass dunes.
And I am sure she could navigate these narrow paths
with her eyes closed!

So yes, we have been lonely this week without Ron.
And to get HOW lonely we were,
here's a song about it(it should read Bobby Vinton):

  1. gah, I feel old when I remember the words to some of these songs! I am taken back to childhood and can see it like it was this very moment. Thanks for the memory, Sorry Ron is sick, hope he manages to get over it quickly. Try some zinc, it really helps cut down on the sick time. Love Sophie in the grass, she looks so content.

    1. Zink is an excellent idea Joanne, thanks, we'll add it to our regime of 'drugs'!!

YES, it seems like some/most of those songs are imprinted on our brains....one would think we were impressionable or something back then!! lol

  4. I am sure Sophie really misses Ron too on your walks-
When our Nikita was with us her and I took long walks every day for almost 10 years-I am just now able to start taking walks by myself-it's when I miss her the most So I can relate totally-hope Ron's cold is gone soon

  10. I hope Ron feels better soon. That Bobby Vinton song came out about the time my brother had to go off for basic training (for the military). He was lonely and very homesick, so that song always reminds me of my brother.

    Love,
    Janie
