Larger Than Life

One gets the feeling while on Prince Edward Island that perspective is all out of whack.

Maybe it's the red-coloured clay that is everywhere.

Even the shadows are bigger.

At least my shadow is.

'Is Jim still going on about perspective! Geesh! All I want is that walk he promised me on the beach?'

  1. Hello,
Now that's a shadow!! Maybe you are just on top of the world and didn't know it! Love the Sophie photo, 'I am waiting... patiently might I add!'

  4. What terrific shadow shots! I always wanted to visit P.E.I when we lived in N.B. for a few years as kids, but Nova Scotia was as far as our parents took us. It looks so beautiful. I hope Sophie got her walk! :)

  7. Lovely pics, where I grew up the dirt was that color. Funny I didn't think much of it at the time. But after living here for so long, when I went back after many, many years I noticed it immediately.

  8. I love that red dirt/sand. Sophie knows she'll get that walk, she knows she's so well taken care of, and living the best doggie life. She knows all that, sometimes they just have to whine a little.

    1. She does it all to get her walk! But actually she is so patient with us when we are taking our time!!! We're a pretty good team however.

  9. "Sophie's" comment at the end is hilarious. As I looked at the pictures and saw her constantly on the move around your shadow, I was imagining her saying just that! I love shadow pictures. It looks a bit more awkward stopping in the middle of a busy city street to take them, but I'm inspired to do so.

    1. Mitch, be careful! Don't be backing out into traffic just to get that perfect shadow shot!! Unless it's a REALLY good one!! lol

  11. I think the shadows are cool! Does make everything appear a bit unreal though. Maybe why it's cool!

  13. The last photo, Sophie looks like "Are you coming, or what?". And the traffic sign on the water's edge still gets me.

    1. She won't do anything on her own! That's good, I guess.
Glad that sign 'gets you' Terry......only one way to go, to the left! Otherwise.....
