Hello,Now that's a shadow!! Maybe you are just on top of the world and didn't know it! Love the Sophie photo, 'I am waiting... patiently might I add!'Ivan
Ivan, Sophie is SO patient with us! I am learning from her! That is precisely how I feel when on PEI...'on top of the world'! Thanks.
long sad shadowsanother reason to hate autumn
Oh settle down John!! lolDon't be such a big baby!
Wonderful light in these shots!
It was, Fiona. You would have had a ball with it!
What terrific shadow shots! I always wanted to visit P.E.I when we lived in N.B. for a few years as kids, but Nova Scotia was as far as our parents took us. It looks so beautiful. I hope Sophie got her walk! :)
At least you made it to N.S.! So, you are a Maritimer!! Kind of....And yes, Sophie got her walk. We'd pay dearly if she didn't!! lol
I like these shadow shots, especially on the road leading to the beach.
Makes me want to go back for a few days! Hm-m-m.....we'll see, just to 'play' with those shadows a little more!
Oh Sophie, you're such a realist!
Learned that from you know who! Starts with a 'J'......
Lovely pics, where I grew up the dirt was that color. Funny I didn't think much of it at the time. But after living here for so long, when I went back after many, many years I noticed it immediately.
Guess we just get used to our surroundings.
I love that red dirt/sand. Sophie knows she'll get that walk, she knows she's so well taken care of, and living the best doggie life. She knows all that, sometimes they just have to whine a little.
She does it all to get her walk! But actually she is so patient with us when we are taking our time!!! We're a pretty good team however.
"Sophie's" comment at the end is hilarious. As I looked at the pictures and saw her constantly on the move around your shadow, I was imagining her saying just that! I love shadow pictures. It looks a bit more awkward stopping in the middle of a busy city street to take them, but I'm inspired to do so.
Mitch, be careful! Don't be backing out into traffic just to get that perfect shadow shot!! Unless it's a REALLY good one!! lol
What a beautiful autumn day - those pictures capture it perfectly. I love Sopies expression at the end. It really does look like she is bored waiting! Lovely post that was Jimski
Thanks Anneski! You should hear Sophie sigh! She is so good at it! Like a teenager!
I think the shadows are cool! Does make everything appear a bit unreal though. Maybe why it's cool!
Things really can be unreal over there on the Island.
Oh Jim what beautiful pictures!
Thanks Karen! The light was special that evening.
The last photo, Sophie looks like "Are you coming, or what?". And the traffic sign on the water's edge still gets me.
She won't do anything on her own! That's good, I guess.Glad that sign 'gets you' Terry......only one way to go, to the left! Otherwise.....
Hey, I really like your comments and appreciate the time you took to do so.
