  1. Looks fun! If anyone was trying to do that here yesterday, it would be just called flying! Great photo set.

    1. Well Ivan, it was almost to that point yesterday at the beach.....very windy and often they (there were a few more there) lifted way up above the water.
      Great to watch!

    1. Gee thanks Mitch! It took all I had to hang on!!! lol

This guy was obviously very strong....otherwise he would have 'been taken' over to the next county!

    1. And so did we trying to keep up with him! Running along the beaches edge jumping the waves as they came ashore.

  4. Not on topic but . . . Hey, are you guys voting for Tuxedo Stan the cat for mayor of Halifax? Apparently Anderson Cooper has endorsed him!

    1. He appears to be the ONLY viable candidate, Debra! So I guess we have no choice! He is causing quite the stir or should I say 'purr' around the world!! lol

    1. This has obviously been around the block and back a number of times! Beginners stay closer to shore and in more sheltered areas.....there Lisa, no excuses now! lol It is always exciting/invigorating to see.

  7. Those are great shots of someone doing something that I would never ever ever in a million lifetimes try to do. I tried plain old surfing one time when I was a pre-teen on a family vacation in Hawaii. Managed to stand up, then fell right off, the board whacked me in the back and I had to be "rescued" by the extremely cute surfing teacher. Heh, heh, heh.

    1. Most people would start with just the surfboard. Imagine harnessing yourself to a very large kite!!!! And in the wind!!
