Oh The Joy!

At the risk of sounding biased....well okay I am!........

I love stepping back a bit and just observing Ron and Sophie interacting on our hikes.

As I am sure you already know from 'their' blog, they have this special connection.

They both have and get joy from each other.

This is so evident from Ron's photos, and they do it for the sheer joy of being with each other.

So, as they are doing their thing, I am doing mine.......

watching the love and joy these two have.

  2. Love Photo # 3, even if it's not perhaps Sophie's best angle.

    1. LOL! Ron was throwing Mr.Orangie into the river and I caught that pose and Sophie darting after it.

  3. I love to see your photos of these two, since it's obvious you love them both so much. What a happy family! PS--I'm not sure most old PBN's are worth much except if you're an insane collector like me. There are certain ones that are more desirable than others, though. I just like them because they are another reminder of my happy idyllic childhood (ha ha). I found an incredible "Last Supper" PBN on my recent trip to Illinois that I'll be showing on my blog whenever I get around to taking a photo of it. It's BIG!

    1. Hi Chris! Good to see you!
You know what? I did the Last Supper when I was a kid and it is in my Dad's basement. I remember doing it and thought I was going to be an artist!! lol!
They, PBN's, certainly bring back a time when things were more simple....in a good way. I loved 'painting' these things!

  5. Beautiful photos, Jim. What a nice connection these two have. And I'm sure Sophie is the same with you, too. Pets add so much joy to our lives, don't they?

    1. Thanks Martha! Sophie always adjusts to both of us. She knows which one she can get away with certain behaviors! lol
Yes, what would we do without the companionship of pets. We had a cat once, Polo, who thought she was a dog and would follow us all around the neighbourhood in Vancouver with our dog at the time. She was something else!

  6. It is joyful to watch (and photograph) the ones you love, sharing their joy with each other.

(Not sure if I am making sense)

    1. Well I am now aware of your 'Laurie' and I take it your Sophie is a dog? I'll have to go digging through your posts to meet her.
Thanks for stopping by Tammy....good to meet you.
