Well I know that you still 'have' Ron, but do you still 'have' that album, or was it replaced with a newer better version? ;-)
Now we have the CD and I suppose THAT is retro too! lol
I love the jazz at the end of the song. However, from what I know of Fat Tuesday, that song is a little slow paced.Good tune and I'm sure some great memories.
Stew, I'll have to check out Fat Tuesday...it's new to me. Thanks mister for the lead to that tune.Yes, great memories.
Oh Oh...here I go back in time again....mmmmmm...nice!
Soph, don't believe a word your Dad tells you about 'back then'!! lol
I honestly don't remember this, it's catchy though! Have a great weekend!
Sharon, you were probably way too bust doing this, that and the other!
You mean you actually got out of bed to go to class? Now, THAT'S impressive!
Things were way different back then! Couldn't skip classes like they do today.
Just the fact that you made it to class is impressive enough. I really like Paul Simon; I still enjoy listening to his tunes. Sounds like 1973 was darn good year :)
Yes, 1973 was a 'turning point' year for both of us in so many ways. The course I was taking wasn't all that bad either.....learned a lot that year.
A fun tune. I was a Simon and Garfunkel fan, but I don't know much of what either of them did solo.
Paul Simon went on to produce at lot of great music (in my humble opinion) on his own while Art Garfunkel did so as well but not to the extent as Simon did.
Ah the memories... Thanks!
Good ones mostly,eh?
Ah, young love!
It was indeed.
I was just remembering how great the music was from the '70s. Most people only think it was disco and Stairway to Heaven but I always love Simon and Garfunkel...whether together or alone. Great memories and 1973 the year I was married!
Jojo, there was a good mix of music back then for sure. Yes, 1973....a big year for you too!
Hey, I really like your comments and appreciate the time you took to do so.
