Retro Saturday

August 1973....Wolfville, Nova Scotia.....just began a 12 month degree
in Special Education at Acadia University.

Just met Ron in July. This was 'our' first album. We knew it backwards!

How I passed that year is anyone's guess.

  1. Well I know that you still 'have' Ron, but do you still 'have' that album, or was it replaced with a newer better version? ;-)

  2. I love the jazz at the end of the song. However, from what I know of Fat Tuesday, that song is a little slow paced.
Good tune and I'm sure some great memories.

  6. Just the fact that you made it to class is impressive enough. I really like Paul Simon; I still enjoy listening to his tunes. Sounds like 1973 was darn good year :)

  7. A fun tune. I was a Simon and Garfunkel fan, but I don't know much of what either of them did solo.

    1. Paul Simon went on to produce at lot of great music (in my humble opinion) on his own while Art Garfunkel did so as well but not to the extent as Simon did.

  8. I was just remembering how great the music was from the '70s. Most people only think it was disco and Stairway to Heaven but I always love Simon and Garfunkel...whether together or alone. Great memories and 1973 the year I was married!
